This edition has been printed and made in England for the Nonesuch Press. It is limited to 1250 sets of three volumes on machine-made paper (numbered 91 to 1340), and 90 sets on English hand-made paper (numbered 1 to 90). This is number 1340. Thomas Otway (3 March 1652 – 14 April 1685) was an English dramatist of the Restoration period, best known for Venice Preserv'd, or A Plot Discover'd (1682). CONDITION In cloth bindings with paper covered boards. Externally, generally smart, lightly rubbed in places. Spines are slightly sunned. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean with some browning, predominantly to the end-papers.
