Externally sound with minor shelf wear and some bumping to the head and tail of the spine and extremities, a touch of darkening to the spine and minor damp marking to the front board. Previous ownership inscription to the front free endpaper, dated 1927. Internally, firmly bound. Light minor spotting to the fore edge, not affecting the pages which are otherwise bright and clean. Decorated in text and with full page plates by A. E. Horne.
