Description: Up for sale is a 1929, second edition of "The Gentlest Giant (and Other Pleasant Persons): Poems from the Enchanting Realm of When We Were Little" by Anna Bird Stewart with Illustrations by Dugald Stewart Walker. The original dust jacket is included. There is a small "v" shaped chip at the top edge of the front and a chip at the top of the spine. Scuffing is present to the back of the jacket. There is edge tanning to the jacket. The back of the jacket has circular brown spotting visible. The cover boards have minor wear to the edges as well as sunning to the edges. The ffep has writing from a previous seller at the top corner in pencil. There are many wonderful illustrations throughout.
