Description: On offer is this vintage Copeland Spode's 'Italian' cereal or soup bowl.Iconic blue & white design originally adapted from a 17th century landscape paining, it features Italian ruins and a Chinese-inspired floral banding. The 'Blue Italian' pattern has been in continuous production by Spode since 1816. This piece has an impressed date mark for 1929 on the rear.Diameter of 19.2cm.In good condition - no chips or cracks, but glaze shows age related crazing and some patches of discolouration on the rear.
