CELLULOID BUTTON Interesting and unusual 1929 celluloid button with American flag ribbon accent measuring about 2-1/4" in size. Marked 38th Annual Session, Indianapolis, Aug., 22-23, 1928, with the JR. O.U.A.M. crest (Junior Order of United American Mechanics), a general fraternal benefits society (I think it is still in operation today). Back is complete with the paper fitted label for The Whitehead & Hoag Co., Newark. Condition is very nice with no damage other than a hint of usage wear and a bit of a roll to the flag end from storage. Nice addition to any collection or display!
