Description: TERRY-TOONS "HOT SANDS" 16mm FILM – Late 1930s – early 1940s Castle Films. 7" x 7" x 1" highly graphic box. Exceptional box art featuring 2-color graphics with Terry-Toon's popular "Farmer Al Falfa" and other characters. Black & white 16mm film is entitled "HOT SANDS", a classic 1934 Paul Terry cartoon. "Complete edition" is noted on box. A highly graphic example with great eye appeal. Condition of FILM is considered GOOD to FAIR with moderate surface wear. Several areas of image scorching & tape residue on opening film titles. Visually appears complete and in operable condition (we have not projected the film ourselves). It is on its original metal reel. Condition of BOX is considered GOOD to FAIR with moderate surface/stain/edge wear. Moderate scuffing & edge separation with a 2.5" area of tearing on top flap. Overall, we feel this is a very displayable example by most standards (see photos). It would make an impressive TERRY-TOONS display for the VINTAGE ANIMATION and/or MOVIE MEMORABILIA enthusiast.
