Description: 1930s German Dresden Von Schierholz Porcelain Cherub Floral 3-Arm Candelabra 14”Size: 14" tall x 8" wide (arms) base 4.5" circumference For your consideration is a lovely antique hand made, hand painted, 3 candle position porcelain candelabra made by the renowned and highly collected Von Schierholz of Plaue, Thuringia, Germany and produced using Dresden Porcelain. The candelabra has many applied leaves and flowers, is fully hand painted with gold accent lines and features a cherub embracing the stem. The base is reticulated and incorporates a lovely swirl design. These candelabras are very delicate as they are made using the Capodimonte technique with 3-dimensional applied components. Von Shierholz designed and produced this product in the 1930's. This is an expertly crafted piece by one of the more famous porcelain makers of the day. A must have for any porcelain collector. This piece is in remarkably good condition considering it's age and delicateness (90+ years old). There are 2 small points of damage - please see pics for details and ask any questions before buying. Other than what is pointed out in pictures, I have not found any other damage. Candle holders do show some residual wax from the previous owner. Buy Happy!
