Description: Here is a vintage 1930's - 1940's MIDCO (Midwest Sporting Goods Co.) Model F15 baseball glove for a Right Handed thrower and thus fits on the left hand. Made in the USA. The glove is a youth size glove and it measures 8" long through the pocket and is 8" wide. This was a cheaper made glove, but still looks cool and is a bit unique. White circuit loops on the side of the thumb and index finger laced with a shoestring (original) for the web. The glove has the MIDCO logo stamped in the bottom of the heel, but is fairly faint. It says "Genuine Leather" in the middle of the palm and F15 the model number below that. On the right side it says Genuine Steerhide Greased Palm, but most of that wording isn't readable. The vintage glove has no owners ink on it. I relaced the bottom heel with white lace since it was missing some lace there. The lacing on the web is original but is a shoestring. The front leather is very soft . The stamping is hard to read in some places and originally had silver in, which has mostly worn off. The interior is a soft vinyl covered brown cloth, but the vinyl has mostly worn away in the palm. The black cloth piping on the glove is nice. The green suede leather on the back is mostly soft with the two middle fingers being a bit more stiff. The cloth interior is torn at the bottom of the palm for and inch where it was attached to the piping (right below the bottom of the backstrap. I have other gloves and mitts on eBay now as auctions and/or Buy it Now, and I like to combine shipping whenever possible.
