Description: This is a small, 7.5” x 5” bag featuring colorful wooden beads strung together in a pretty pattern over a black liner. The handle is also made of wooden beads. This purse is packable. It won’t take up much space in your luggage. It will fit a cell phone, lipstick, and a few other small essentials when going out for the evening. According to the personal note found inside, it was purchased in Lakeland, Florida in the early 1930’s. Condition: Very good - There is an area where the beaded part has come loose from the lining on one side at the top near the zipper. It just needs a little stitch-up in that area, which is about 4” across. (Please refer to photos.) The lining is intact and clean, and the beads have no chips. The metal zipper works. It appears the handle may have been repaired, because there is an area where the beads run single file vs double. (Please refer to photos.) It is an eye-catching, vintage accessory that will add a pop of color to your wardrobe! What I like most about it: It’s nearly 100 years old yet remains contemporary. Timeless design.
