Description: Wow ... this 'old lady' may have her flaws but just consider her virtues : 1. Beautifull 'birdseye / cross grain' in an 'A' ? Oh , remember the 'R' (Root designation came out in 1932). 2. The inaugural year for the 'Vernon Tenon'. 3. A long 'bowling ball' cumberland stem (overall pipe length 6 1/2 inches). From 'Pipephil' : Provisional Patent Protection 'No.10225' (photo #13) was applied to Dunhill pipes from April 1931 up to December 1931 ...and then became 'final No. 363582'. Chamber ID .700" x .700" , OD 1.250" , Bowl height 1 5/8" , Bore depth 1 3/16" . Stem is 'snap in' tight , has the very small yellow 'white dot' , and the bit end has several shallow small elongated divots (photos 18&19). Includes a tube of (22) 'Dri-Pipe Tubes' ....that insert into the Vernon Tenon. No ghosting and no bowl coat (no cracks , fissures or internal char).Shipped USPS signature required . International ships to eBay approved address ...customs , tariffs and tax paid by buyer at point of entry . NOTE: Due to stem button repair this pipe NOT recommended for a 'clencher / chewer' ...a 'Softy' bit is included .
