Description: Welcome to our eBay picks atLONG LOST Co This is a FIXED PRICE • BUY-IT-NOW sale This lot consists of 1933 marketing correspondence from the Emerson Radio & Phonograph Corp. to a small Radio Shop in Dublin, Bucks County, PA (I know this because I have advertising pencils from this recipient). The package features a small brochure for the latest COMPACT-PORTABLE TUBE RADIOS models 20A and 25A, designed to run on ANY current ANYWHERE (anywhere there is a battery or power source of at least 6v, ie: a car or boat). I would imagine that these radios were a precursor to the pocket transistor radio. The reverse of the broadside illustrates other compact table models, numbers 30, 35, 250 and 300. The brochure masurements are about 3 1/4”W x 6 1/4”H (folded), 9 1/2”W x 11 3/4”H (open). The lot consists of four pieces, a LETTERHEAD, ORDER FORM, ILLUSTRATED BROCHURE and ENVELOPE. The condition of the contents are VERY GOOD to EXCELLENT with damage only to the envelope (missing side flap, torn top flap on the reverse, a tear through the return address and damage to the top left corner). Contents are clean and nicely preserved. I should mention, that the letter was improperly folded, creating an extra, thin, folded strip at the bottom. A minor issue and mentioned only to be thorough.
