Description: 1934 Great British Coin Display Gift Set This 1934 British year set contains the complete seven coins all issued and dated from the year, namely: halfcrown, shilling, sixpence, threepence (these four all struck in 50% silver), penny, halfpenny and farthing (the florin was not issued dated 1934). This would make a wonderful and original gift for someone born or married in 1934 as 2024 will see their 90th Birthday! The coins are housed within a display that is held in a protection case, sized just over 17cm x 12cm. The display and case are in New/Mint condition and the coins are in Fine (or better) condition.Note - We don't clean/polish coins as this actually devalues coinage. Our manufacturing process includes a precision laser cutting method to create the necessary holes in each display for the required coins to be inserted and held, safely recessed, in the correct position. The product can be removed from the protection case, to allow frame mounted display, if so desired.
