Description: This is the 3/4 piastre used on a local cover. This is the correct use of this stamp. Although the stamp was printed in alarge numbers, a comparatively small number of local covers survive. The stamp is cancelled KYRENIA 7 August 1935 and on the reverse is a TROODOS receipt mark of the next day. The cover was opened at the top, slightly untidily and a portion of the backflap is missing. (my reference 1047) COMBINED POSTAGEI am selling other 1935 Silver Jubilee items and will combine postage as weight allows.
