Description: 1935 Vintage Aksarben Ak-Sar-Ben Membership Pin Omaha Nebraska NEAn older round pin with red and green enamel showing a race horse and jockey. The green enamel is chipped off in 2 fairly large places and a couple of tiny places. Also, some of the gold wash which has worn off over the years. This is first year of legalized horse racing in Nebraska. Membership badges were made from 1895 through 1900. The pins were made from 1902 through 1996. Always see pictures.Aksarben race track was located in Omaha, Nebraska, NE, and was closed forever on August 7, 1995 after the last race.
