Description: PRICE REDUCED !!!1936 - 1937 Cord 810 / 812 Cylinder Head Flathead Lycoming V-8 My friend owned and restored two Supercharged 1937 Cords several years ago and had six parts cars. He removed this head from a running parts car that he used for the engine as he had a NOS set of heads. I cleaned it up and hung on my office wall for many years as I thought it was neat. It has been a great conversation piece as most people think it is an exotic Flathead Ford piece. I've won a number of steak dinners, a cheese burger or two and yes, a couple of beers by betting my friends that they couldn't identify what this head was. It has been fun. I have decided to sell it. I have been told it is a ’37 ( but could be a '36) and likely could still be used on a car by an award winning Cord expert. I am not a mechanic and do not know how to tell a good head from a bad one but it looks pretty good for a used 82 year old auto part. It will need restoration to be perfect. You be the judge. I am selling it as a rare, neat, decorative Mancave Wall Hang. The only identifying marks I can find on it are: A “G” cast in the middle above the USA Patent Number 2010782 You can tramp swap meets and junkyards until your testicles TURN BLUE but you won’t find another Cord Head this nice for this price !!!!!
