Description: # 843 is a Original GM rear spring hanger for the rear spring on the 1937 to 1954 Chevrolet and GMC 1/2 ton pickups. Condition is for Parts or Restoration. Will need a good cleaning and the bushing replaced prior to use. NOTE: The catalog listing in picture 12 shows it to be used for 37 to 52 truck but the only catalog I had was a 1929 to 1952 catalog so that's where it ended. Picture 11 shows one mounted on a 1954 Chevrolet 1/2 ton pickup between the frame and the spring shackle. So it should work for up to 1955 first series pickups but it is always best to do your own research prior to purchase. NOTE: Picture 11 is for reference purposes only, this sale is for the spring hanger only nothing else is included in this sale.
