Description: Unique and hard to find from artist Ila Fifield of East Calais Vermont 1940s. These are wooden flat dimensional carved figures with hand-painted features and costumes. They are pin-hinged for articulation and represent Alice holding the pink flamingo and the white rabbit with his pocket watch and umbrella. Please look at the pictures closely, each figurine does have some wear, the rabbit is missing the tip of his umbrella and he does have some paint where here and there, and The tail and legs do show some wood creases and splits. Palace still has a very nice face painting and coloring on her outfit and flamingo. There are some wood stress marks here and there, she is missing her stand and a small piece of her foot has split again due to the wood being made in the three layered fashion same as the back of her dress.
