Description: Beautiful vintage 1940's green dress with pocket decoration that looks like cut steel beads. Wonderful shape and detailing, with vertical bust dart type pleats under pockets and narrow vertical ribbed skirt. Thread belt loops, but no belt, ornamental buttons down back (a few snaps at top), small side zipper, three-quarter sleeves. Great style! Unfortunately it's not perfect -- one large beads is half off (appear to be two-part metal beads), and there's some light surface rust in a few spots. Also there are a few holes and discoloration on button, quite a few faded or discolored spots -- please see all photos. Neckline is a little floppy because of the construction, as shown. The tag is marked "Peak of the Week Paris New York". No content tag but it feels like crepe. True color is kind of a muted forest green.There's no size tag -- seems to be a small size--but please use these measurements to be sure it will fit you:-Bust area measures about 32” laid flat measured under arms-Shoulder to shoulder in back - 14"--Length shoulder to hem on side about 37” Slightly wrinkled.
