Description: One piece of vintage red and white1940s fabric with a floral swirl print. 3 1/2 yards. 38 inches wide. There are 3 black spots that I show in photos. They are close to the selvage edge and fabric edge. I did not wash this fabric. The fabric has the texture of a slubbed silk. This could be a silk rayon. I did a water test and it did not shrink up or show any color bleed. It is light to medium weight. It is soft, fluid, and will drape well. I felt inspired by this fabric and spent a few minutes of fantasy as a contestant in a project runway challenge. I did a clipped drape over my mannequin to give and idea of what it would look like as a dress. This piece of fabric weighs over 1 pound, which makes a flat rate envelope the best shipping.
