Description: This is a scarce football program (see picture) from the game between LANSING EASTERN HIGH SCHOOL and FLINT CENTRAL HIGH SCHOOL, played on October 3, 1941 in Lansing, Michigan--just two months before the attack on Pearl Harbor would change the world forever. Flint Central was led by the legendary LYNN CHANDNOIS, who won All-State honors in high school; was an All-American at Michigan State; and later played for the Pittsburgh Steelers in the NFL. He was the 1952 NFL Player of the Year. (His name is misspelled as Chandnaois in the program) Lansing Eastern was led by quarterback Jack Clark, and popular Lansing realtor and restauranteur Stan Brauer was the center. This program, four pages in length (including the covers), is clean and intact, exhibiting light wear from handling and storage over the past 83 years. It would make a great addition to your own collection, or it would make a wonderful gift for that Lynn Chandnois enthusiast, Lansing or Flint historian, or vintage program collector in your life! Postage is $5.00. And, of course I'll combine postage on multiple purchases. Be sure to check the other items in my eBay store, too!
