Description: This is a 1941 Play Ball baseball card of Detroit Tiger Hall of Famer Hank Greenberg. The manufacturer, Gum, Incorporated of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, emerged after the war as the Bowman Gum Company. It is card #18 in the set of 72 cards. It was sent to PSA for authentication and encapsulation/grading. The PSA certification number is 63653341. It was authenticated and given a grade of Good, 2. There is a stain on the obverse in the left-hand border and the top and bottom obverse borders are not in proportion to one another. Please look at the photographs. Mr. Greenberg played from 1930-1947, compiled a .313 lifetime batting average, was a two-time AL MVP, a five-time All Star, a four-time AL home run leader, a World Series Champion with the Tigers in 1935 and 1945, and was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1956.
