This is the hole in the center variety 10 cents. The obverse of the coin shows the denomination spelled out in the bottom, a crown above the central hole and the legend "GEORGIVS VI REX ET IND: IMP" along the edge. The reverse says "EAST AFRICA 1942" along the edge and has the number "10" above the central hole. The coin is nicely toned and shows all the details very well. It is a truly a nice coin with great eye appeal. Please carefully review the photos presented as they are part and parcel of our description. Date: 1942. Origin: East Africa British Colonies. Weight and Size: The coin is ~30.5 mm in diameter and weighs ~9.4 grams. References: KM#26.2. Condition: I would grade this coin as a nice very fine or much better with all the details being well preserved and wear commensurate with its age and circulated state. The coin has even wear on both sides. It is nicely toned and great eye appeal. It has a few scratches, minor dings to the surface and edge, and bag marks all of which can be seen in the photos.
