Description: Here is a menu from 1940s Hartford Connecticut. The restaurant was called the Empire Restaurant. No address noted. The original owner of the menu has made many interesting notes inside the menu on what they had and didn’t have. This was dated October 1, 1944. Two WWII related comments on the cover. Two specials cards paper clipped in. Wine and liquor list on the back. Just over 7” x 11” and 4 pages. Some rust residue from the paper clips and as stated lots of pen notations on the inside.
