Description: Here's a hard to find railroad china luncheon plate in the Violets and Daisies pattern by Onondaga Pottery, Syracuse. This pattern was used in the dining cars of the Chicago Burlington & Quincy Railroad trains. The date code indicates manufacture in 1944. The plate measures 9 inches in diameter and weighs over 1¼ pounds before packaging. There is a moderate amount of scratching and use wear, but otherwise this piece is in very nice condition no chips, nicks or cracks. It is marked on the back as shown.
