1945 1st Palestine mail to Czechoslovia after WWII, OAT handstamp, censored

Description: 1st Palestine mail to Czechoslovakia after WWII: 31 July 1945 postmarked air mail uprated postal card with long message in Hebrew-written Yiddish, sent from TEL AVIV to PRAGUE, franked 30 mils for the period postage rate & tied by 2x strikes of the head post office postmark; subsequently tied by the Palestine censor handstamp in Tel Aviv. Evidently sent in an open mail bag of bundles of mail for various destinations (as opposed to a sealed bag of pre-sorted mail to a single specific destination), where subsequently tied by pale red & distorted OAT handstamp (Heifetz type VI) in LONDON, indicating onward air carriage to Czechoslovakia - this instructional marking was applied to the top letter of the bundle in the received open mail bag. Remarkably early postwar mail as postal service with Czechoslovakia was renewed on 25 July 1945 (only by air, no surface mail) though it was only officially published on 2 August (and in the press on 3 August); Palestine postal censorship ended on 30 Sept. 1945. --- Most of our merchandise ships out from Israel | orders are combined | additional items are charged 75c: DOMESTIC services available are Registered mail (default) and courier mail.
