Up for auction is an issue of August 23, 1947 New Yorker magazine featuring a beautiful front cover that would look great framed as a piece of art!! This issue is in overall very good condition showing minor wear due to age and storage. These magazines were stored in plastic bags for protection by a life long collector. We have just acquired a large collection of New Yorker magazines from the 1940's. We have duplicates for many of these issues and for the most part they are identical.
