This set is Catalogued as JBR 155 in the Japanese Baseball Card Catalog.They are called 'Tall B&W type 2', and are similar to the JBR53 cards. These are fairly Rare overall. They are ranked R4, meaning est. under 10 of ea. card known. Tetsuharu Kawakami 川上哲治is in the Japanese Baseball Hall of Fame Kawakami was a player from 1938-1958 He was a professional player for 18 years, winning 5 batting titles, 2 home run crowns, 3 RBI titles and had 6 titles for the most hits in a season.
