The ad is from a department store Gimbel's and congratulates the Phillies on winning the pennant. The ad is dated October 2, 1950, the day after Dick Sisler's famous 10th inning HR to beat Brooklyn and win the pennant. The ad references an early season ad that Gimbel's published that stated when the Phillies win the pennant the store would give each player a new outfit for free. Nice item from the popular Whiz kids era. Condition is not very good. The ad is in two pieces (top and bottom) and has been folded, along with a few tears. All graphics are visible and legible. Piece will ship folded and flat as to not damage any further. Even with condition, still a great find.
