PMG Certification Number: 1075745-035 PRIEST/HUMPHREY RUN: UNKNOWN/ONLY POSSIBLE SERIAL NUMBERS KEY DATE EXTRAORDINARY RARE This is an extremely rare, key dated $20 star note from the Atlanta FED. There are only 5 notes known to exist. Only 3 of those are uncirculated of which this is one of the three. The highest grade known is 65 with only one of the 3 note’s receiving that exclusive grade from PMG. 8 years since I purchased this note at Heritage Auctions and the population has stayed the same. The note has extraordinary eye appeal. It’s very bright and beautiful with the plates giving it a nice contrast on the bright paper. The note has an unusual for the era, extremely hard and dark print around the White House. The dark print on the trees surrounding the White House produce a profound picture and detail of our most historical building. It’s printed on crisp, rigid paper with razor sharp corners. The note seems like it was just printed. No exaggeration. Enclosed are pictures from John Schwartz book, The Standard Guide to U.S. paper money. John is the world’s leading authority on pre 1963, smallpox size United States paper money. Most of the information in catalogue’s comes from here as John has the most accurate information from the BEP. The book value for a non graded CU is $300 plus, excluding the extreme rarity. I suspect it will be adjusted higher in the near future I priced this rare $10 bill, right at the only known book value. Very nicely for its rarity and its investment potential.
