This engine can be considered either as a great source for parts or as an easy restoration project.It appears that it has all the components to be fully restored.The engine section has been air tested (video).The boiler is in good condition.The base, and boiler housing are in good condition.The whistle is complete with the original top and handle.The regulator valve is in good condition.The smoke stack/pressure relief valve is in good condition.The water level sight is complete but will likely need new gaskets. The original heating element is provided but is probably NOT working. I am providing you with a 250W replacement (the original one is 400W) that is suitable. However, if you ever plug this element onto an empty boiler, it will collapse within seconds. Never use it on a dry tank. The connection boiler/engine is included.You need to plan to get new gaskets all around.The electric cord is not included but I can provide you with a new, old stock one for $12/$22 whether or not you need a switch. I believe that should cover about all of it :-) Condition : This vintage live steam engine is either a tremendous source for parts (it is 99% complete) or can be an easy restoration project.
