Description: THis is a 1950's (?) Crown Electric Works Ltd. Copper battery operated lantern made in Japan, model N5186. This lantern is about 4.5" high (without the handle) and has 2 bulbs. There is a switch on the side that switches between the bulbs. It appears that should a bulb burn out, you can slide the switch and have a spare.Box says: "Safelight Jr. For Hikers, Scouts Campers, Household Emergency, Child's Night Light or Auto Warning Light".The box is in actually in pretty good condition showing only light use and normal wear from use and has one small tear on the top flap.This is a cool product reminiscent of the '50's and would make a great addition to your lantern or vintage collection.I want all customers to be satisfied with their purchase.
