Description: Selling a rear tailgate from a 1953 Chevy wagon. Seems like it should also interchange with 1954s. This is in as found condition. As seen the whole lower portion is rusted and would need repair if wanting to use. The rest seems reasonably solid but i'm sure there are other areas that could use attention. The outer stainless trim is in good condition, the emblem is pitted. The passenger side latch still works, driver's side is froze, didn't look into it. It has all of the inside trim as well, a couple are a little tweaked where it rusted out but are in usable condition. Has some side hinge parts, internal assembly in unknown condition, assuming rusty/set up. Asking price is for the whole tailgate as seen with free US shipping, would consider removing and shipping just the trim/latches/hardware if it comes off easily at a discount of whatever I could save on shipping.
