Stockholm, Sweden -- Prince Carl Bernadotte, 43, married a Swedish commoner, Anna Margareta Lindner, in a church in a Stockholm suburb. Prince Carl, a cousin of King Gustaf Adolf VI, and a brother of the late Queen Astrid of Belgium, lost his princely rights when he married a commoner in 1937, but regained the title of prince the same year from Leopold, then King of the Belgians. The bride is an attractive girl, besides being one of Stockholm's best-dressed women. She is tall, blonde and svelte. She served on the staff of a fashionable Stockholm interior decorating firm for several years. It cost Prince Charles to get himself a commoner, but it was better than an even break for the Prince, because the King of the Belgians gave him another in its place. The Bride and Groom are shown leaving Kvillinge Church, 70-miles from here after the wedding, July 6. Swedish law deprived the Prince of the title. Photo measures 7 x 9 inches.
