Available in the U.S.A, will be the 200cc"Colt”, the 500cc "Red Hunter”, the 650cc "Huntmaster” twinand the increasingly popular 61 cubic inch "Square Four". Alsoincluded in the 1956 range is the high performance "Scrambler”model in competition trim.ALLOY FULL WIDTH HUBS AND NEW BRAKESRed Hunter, single, Huntmaster, twin and Square Four modelsfeature a new full width aluminum allow front hub with cast-inalloy iron brake drum. Extremely neat in appearance, this newunit incorporates a centrally positioned 7" diameter brake with11/6" wide linings. Internally, the hub has stiffening webs andexternally it is finned for brake cooling. Wheel bearings arehoused in steel sleeves which are also cast-in. A fulcrum typeadjustment is provided as well as finger operated cable adjusters.This new hub and brake are also used on the rear wheel of the"Red Hunter” and "Huntmaster” models.NEW COLORAn entirely new appearance is given to "Red Hunter” and"Huntmaster” models by the bright Ariel Red baked enamelfinish and restyled chrome tank panels with contrasting whitestriping.QUICKLY DETACHABLE REAR WHEELSThe rear wheel on "Red Hunter," "Huntmaster,’’ and "SquareFour" models is quickly detachable for easy service and main-tenance operations.REAR CHAIN ENCLOSUREOptional at extra cost is the new full enclosure for the rearchain which is available on both Red Hunter and Huntmastermodels. This new feature insures a clean, well lubricated rearchain which makes for long chain life and smooth running. Chainlubrication is provided by a special oil feed from the oil tank.NEW INSTRUMENT PANEL AND HEADLAMP COWLA brand new headlamp cowl of modernistic and pleasing ap-pearance replaces the former brackets on the larger Ariel models.This cowl is a steel pressing and incorporates a new 1" diameterpre-focus Lucas light unit.
