Reptiles - lizards. Only slightly wounded, the iguana is treated with ointment after the darts are removed. The curare (an old Indian poison) is a weak solution in honey, varied with the size of animal to prevent killing. On crude workbench, darts are removed and puncture points covered with medicated ointment. Area of damage is relatively small will heal quickly without complications. The curare poison could be fatal unless the mixture is scientifically controlled for size of animal sought. Photo measures 9.75 x 8 inches. Photo is dated 9-30-1956.
