Description: The great right fielder for the 1960 World Series champion Pittsburgh Pirates who could hit, hit with power, steel a base, and was a wizard in the outfield with a great arm enemy base runners rarely ventured to test. At the end of the 1972 season he had exactly 3000 hits and tragically died in an airplane crash taking relief supplies to Nicaragua which had been devastated by an earthquake. Any Pirates fan would want to add this card to his collections.
