1957 Nautical Chart -- CASCO BAY, Maine -- PORTLAND, Freeport, BRUNSWICK

Description: Measuring about 36" x 46", this nautical chart is the U.S. Coast & Geodetic Survey Nautical Chart No. 315 - "Maine - Casco Bay." Cape Elizabeth is at the lower left corner, then it follows the coastline up through Portland, Yarmouth, Freeport and Brunswick to the Harpswell and Phippsburg peninsulas at the upper right. It is dated 1946 (13th edition), revised through 1957, and the scale is 1:40,000. It is stamped at the bottom that it is corrected through the August 30, 1958, "Notice to Mariners." The back is blank apart from handwritten titles, as shown in the last picture. It has also been folded in 16, which is how it will be shipped.
