Description: 1958 LP Record RUSS GARCIA Fantastica Music Outer Space LONDON STEREO 7005 EX- In this auction, you will receive the following: 1958 LP Record RUSS GARCIA Fantastica Music Outer Space LONDON STEREO 7005 EX- First 1958 Stereo Pressing of this Space-Age Exotica Gem!! Very weird & endearing proto electronica/ jazz/ orchestral disc that reminds me of the music from "Lost in Space" & "Star Trek"! Odd space beeps, chips, xylophones, female alien ooohings and ahhings sounds.. this disc has it all!! PLAY TESTED for solid VG++/EX- Has been freshly ultrasonic cleaned with Tergikleen!! Please read about what this (above) cleaning method does for a record's sound separation, sonic depth, crispness, clarity & sound stage presence!! Both LP sides have been 100% PLAY TESTED (now twice) with our Technics SL 1200 with (1 year old) Ortofon 2m Silver Cartridge for solid VG++/EX- This LP Set is from a Nashville, TN area DJ's collection that we have in climate controlled storage and have been selling out for a couple of years..he was known to collect a record, commit it to CD or hard drive and then store it away otherwise unplayed.. Both sides play splendidly (and almost like new) with precious few pops, ticks or noise at all! The dead wax shows hardly a crackle or tick.. practically no noise at all in the music.. Sounds close to be freshly removed from the shrink... Of course, the music has crystalline clarity with no hiss or back ground noise. This album appears to have never been played, by the spindles and examining the vinyl visually, as well!! No annoying noise shadowing the vocals & sound portions, typical of an LP this age.. I will never list an album on eBay which has persistent back ground noise or hiss because I believe this utterly destroys the true enjoyment of ANY LP record!! The condition of the generally well preserved cover is clearly shown........... The worst flaws are shown.. This is the one you were looking for... Both sides play ultra clean, crisp & clear, with a few pops, ticks & light crackles in some of the quietest spots ... hence the VG+ / VG...the very end of Side #2 has 1 skip only...would be VG+ otherwise... great sound for it's age though..nice clarity~!~! the dead wax has some tiny crackles but not bad at all... Of course, the music plays with crystalline clarity with no hiss, distortion or back ground noise. No annoying static noise shadowing the vocals & sound portions, typical of an LP this age.. Well conditioned vinyl that shows some hairlines & wear but has much original gloss....appears to have been played well played but lovingly cared for ...examining the spindle holes, there are signs of the lightest playwear.. The condition of the generally good conditioned cover is clearly shown with the minor flaws you see. No seam splits... The worst flaws are shown.. A great example!!!
