This film is sort of a combination of Frankenstein and The Island of Dr. Moreau . This is generally considered to be the very first Philippine set location genre horror film, and was released by Valiant Films in America in 1959 to very limited release. It was produced and directed by Eddie Romero and Gerardo De Leon, who would go on to do many cult horror films set in the Philippines through the '60s and 70's, many starring John Ashley from Beach Blanket Bingo fame. A few were also produced by Roger Corman. A rare item indeed. Comes with its original glassine envelope. Condition is excellent, some color bleed on the backs.
