Description: VTG 1960s CURTISS BUTTERFINGER BABY RUTH STORE DISPLAY ADVERTISING CANDY BAR BOX Offered is this Incredible Vintage Rare empty 1960s Curtiss Candy Giant Bar Display Unit. The box is undated and would have originally held Curtiss giant bar Baby Ruth & king-size Butterfinger candy bars. The box measures 16" x 8 1/4" x 4" and it would have originally held 8 pounds 12 ounces of large size candy bars consisting of 20 giant-bar Baby Ruth and 30 king-size Butterfinger candy bars. A hard-to-find vintage box that is a must-have for the collector! The box is unpunched and uncut. Condition of the box is good for its age with some small losses and with some staining. It has some numbers written on it, but they may come off. I have not tried to remove them and will leave that up to the new owner. It has one torn corner on the box lid. I know that some collectors prefer to fix it themselves and others like to have them restored, so I have not tried to repair/restore it. Please see images for condition. This listing is for the very rare original box. The box has incredible graphics and is in very good overall shape for being over 60 years old! These were made to be disposed of and how many could have possibly survived? You may never find another one of these! It shows some wear and marks as to be expected from a 60+ year old cardboard box, but still has great graphics and displays great! The box is as shown in the photos.
