Description: Up for sale is a 1960's Lincoln Beauty Ware Pink & Chrome Breadbox & Cookie Cannister. My grandma had these at her cabin in the woods for many years. They are in very good lightly used condition. The breadbox weighs 6.9 lbs. and is 17" long, 11" wide and 10 1/4" tall. The pressed wood shelf board is sagging in the center. The pink body of the box has a diagonal quilted texture. The top, sides, back and bottom, inside and out are painted pink. The front hinge at the base door has a mirror chrome finish. On the lower right is an impressed word: "BREAD." On the inside of this door is an inset wood cutting board that is in unused condition. Embossed on the back wall of the box is: "Beauty Box by Lincoln."The matching cookie jar cannister weighs 1.11 lb. and is 9" tall, 6" wide by 5" thick. It has a pink plastic knob. Embossed on the chrome bottom is: "Lincoln Beauty Ware." The lid is also made from the same mirror chrome metal. Lincoln Metal Products Corp in Brooklyn existed from about 1949 to 1969.
