It is laser cut and formed before welding so that it has closed sides and is fully closed, increasing strength and also aesthetics. The lower arm pivots are solid steel from the front to back, which adds strength, looks cleaner, and ensures a perfect alignment. The upper arm mounts are revised so the alignment is done with traditional shims, eliminating the old style T-bolts which had the arm sliding along a slotted mount that leaves the steel looking scarred while destroying the paint around the upper arm, keeping your paint looking pristine. Additionally, the shims work better when driving the car hard on a race track unlike T-bolts and slots that sometimes slip causing the car to come out of alignment. The small block Chevy/LS engine mounts are slotted just like the factory ensuring the engine will fit correctly every time.
