Both doll and case is in great condition for age. Details below. Barbie Doll - 1962 Mattel #850 model from Japan. She is in great condition. Her hair is near perfect. She does have slight green ears as normal. The butt label is hard to read, but can see Mattel Midge Barbie stamp. I just can't read the year, but I'm familiar with this one and sure it is 1962 as I had identical back then and she matches the 1962 case. The words Japan are quite worn off of her feet, but you can tell they were there. No holes in feet. All fingers and toes are intact with red nail polish. The back of her red bathing suit is frayed, but the rest of it is really nice. The doll box has writing on it. Case - states 1962 and has the black bubble cut as the doll does. There are a few, not really large or bad worn spots, on the plastic/cardboard on front corners. The inside is quite nice for age. The Accessory box that goes inside the box is missing, as normal. The dress hanger is intact. The outside and handle and latch are much better than many that I've seen at this age. I have many new and like-new items on Ebay. Most are Women small and shoes size 6.
