Description: 1963 Columbia Torpedo two speed Bendix hub and brake, I bought this bike in 1964 from the dealer in Roseburg, Oregon. I rode it for my paper route and to town(4 miles)to shop and see friends. It is missing the original battery powered headlight. I replaced the tires in 1965 with Good Year knobby raised white letter tires and they are still in very good condition. I air it up and go riding Ocassionally to the park or in the neighborhood. Brake and shifter work as the did when new. Bearings are lubed and good although if I were keeping it I’d disassemble and clean up the crank and wheel bearings. Everything but the bird is original. I’m 75 and ready to sell it and move on. Shipping available for $125.00
