Description: With the assassination of President Kennedy in 1963, the Franklin series came to an abrupt end. Over 3 million Franklin Half proof sets were minted in 1963 during the final year. Milk spots tend to be a problem with this coin, but not this one! I am really surprised this one did not grade a PF69 as it looks better than most 69 Cameos I have seen. Many of these coins were melted for their silver content during the silver boom of 1980, but there are still some great specimens to be found. This one is still in the old original NGC holder. This coin is of one of the higher grades you can own for this year in a cameo proof. Let me know if you have any questions. Enjoy!
