Fine example of 5d postage due used on commercial cover/card (see scans 1 & 2).2) Great Britain 1972 (5th Jan) Sun Life Assurance foolscap cover (210mm x 110mm) with no stamp attached with red boxed 'P / 5 / W1 / To Pay / Posted / Unpaid' similar to Mackay 1660 (Ref. 2) with 5p violet Postage Due stamp SG D82 (Ref. 1) cancelled and tied by in red 'Western District PO / Revenue / Due / 5 Jan 72 / Letter / Office / W1P 1AA' circular date stamp paying double the letter rate of 2 1/2p.
