Description: 1963 Gibson ES330TDC This is one of the best guitars I’ve gotten my hands on in awhile. I am glad we were lucky enough to be asked to find it a new home. It’s a fantastic example of why early 60’s Gibson are above and beyond most guitars ever made. Even after 60 years, the playability is exceptional and the P90 tones are even more incredible. It sports a factory bigsby, which is a rarer feature on these as most had a trapeze style bridge. This guitar spent many years as a daily player on the road with a touring artist and has a few memories (dings) it acquired along the way. Those years really brought this guitar to life. You can feel it just wanting to be played! Beyond a few minor marks it has been incredibly preserved and cared for. The original finish is in excellent condition. With only slight checking and minimal marks or wear. The fretboard is in amazing condition and the fret markers are not disintegrating as I’ve seen on others. The 5th marker corner is slightly above the fret board but does not affect playability and is a simple fix for any luthier. The frets were professionally replaced in the last few years. As said this was a daily player so it the old ones were shot. The electronics are amazingly clean and sound incredible. I see no signs of any changes to the electronics at anytime. There is no static or dirty spots in the pots. The tuners still hold tune great and I will include a new set of tuners in case those old ones ever fail. This guitar has many more stories to tell and songs to sing. If you are looking for a lively player with damn close to a museum level of preservation. This is your chance.
