Description: 1963 JCM 14f (JCM-14-F) 'Bat on Right' Japanese Baseball Menko Card 30/40 cards were imported into USA Bob Nieman Outfielder Chunichi Dragons American U.S.A Former MLB player with the StL Browns, Detroit Tigers, Chicago White Sox Baltimore Orioles, StL Cardinals Cleveland Indians, San Francisco Giants These Color Baseball Menko Cards were made in 1963. This set is Catalogued as JCM 14f in the Japanese Baseball Card Catalog. They are called 'Bat on Right' Bordered Menko Cards. *30 of the 40 known cards in set were imported into the USA by servicemen. The 10 'short-printed' non-imported cards from this set are Fairly Scarce overall. Bob Nieman Nieman was an American born and raised in Cincinnati, OH USA. He played in the MLB from 1951-1962 for 7 different teams. Browns, Tigers, White Sox, Orioles, Cardinals, Indians, and Giants. He then played 1 season in Japan in 1963 with the Chunichi Dragons. He became an everyday outfielder for the Browns, later played regularly for the Tigers and Orioles, and overall he fashioned a 12-year career as a semi-regular outfielder and pinch hitter. In his 1,113-game MLB career he batted .295, with 125 HRs, 32 triples and he batted over .300 three times.
