Description: Note: Please study the images carefully to determine the condition of this vintage photograph, as it may not be in perfect condition. It may contain wrinkles, cracks, and possibly even tears due to its age and how it was handled before it got to us. A scanner may interpret colors and contrast differently than human eyes will, so it is possible that the actual photograph may be slightly darker or lighter in person. This vintage photograph is offered for sale as a collectible item and conveys no transfer of copyright. 1963 Press Photo Facade of the old U.S. Branch Mint on Esplanade Avenue This is an original press photo. Framed by oaks and other trees is the facade of the old U.S. Branch Mint on Esplanade Avenue near the river. This structure, which is owned by the U.S. and under the custodianship of the Coast Guard, is the largest problem building in the Vieux Carre. It is unoccupied and lack of usage is contributing to its decay. One of the proposals for its use is that it be turned into a Louisiana state archives building. Photo measures 10 x 8.25 inches. Photo is dated 5-12-1963. PHOTO FRONT PHOTO BACK Historic Images Part Number: noc75165 Sell Smarter with Kyozou.Inventory and Ecommerce Management
