Description: Up for sale is a complete brand new NOS choke assembly for 1966 - 1967 L79 350 hp 327 Spec Hi Perf engines. Please check my feedback for the same choke assembly I recently sold :) This assembly consists of an NOS choke thermostat coil , coil cover , correct length OEM choke rod , choke rod clip and stainless steel mounting screw. Most Corvette reproduction parts sellers supply incorrect Z28 Camaro choke rods ( that are 1/2" too long !) for '66-'67 350 hp applications including the Corvette parts surgeon who shows the Z28 3917616 rod blueprint that his '66 -'67 L79 choke rod is made to LOL These parts replace GM / Chevrolet choke thermostat coil 3887148 , coil cover 3864866 , choke rod 3881888 and rod clip 7003137 . These parts come from a closed down Chevrolet dealership parts department. Make your Spec Hi Perf Corvette or Nova restoration totally correct with genuine GM parts. Please note these parts are 50 year old production line parts and may have some age imperfections (oxidation or tarnish) - I will select the best quality parts from my inventory. Depending on inventory the choke thermostat and cover may not be the ones shown in the photo , they may come in either GM parts boxes or bags but will be genuine GM parts. The choke rod and clip will come loose as in the photo. Why pay $75 to $100 for just a choke coil and then still have to look for the rest of the choke assembly one part at a time , when you can have a complete and correct assembly all in one shot delivered to your door.
